Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 2, 2026

The Liat Ofer digital greeting cards website (cards.liatofer.com) lets you choose a greeting card, add a personal message and send it by WhatsApp, email or social networks. It is important to us that everyone, including people with disabilities, can use the website easily and comfortably.

Accessibility level

We are working to bring the website into line with the Israeli Standard SI 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0) at level AA, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. So far, the following adjustments, among others, have been made:

  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
  • The website can be navigated with the keyboard, with a clear indication of the focused element.
  • A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, for jumping straight to the main content.
  • Alternative text (a description) for the card images, so that screen readers read out the content of the card.
  • Labels on the search fields and screen reader announcements of topic search results.
  • A hierarchical heading structure, and the page language is declared in the page.
  • Adapted to phones and tablets, and the text can be enlarged in the browser without losing content.
  • Respects the operating system "reduce motion" setting: anyone who has enabled it will not see animations.

Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may still not be fully accessible:

  • The cards themselves are designed images. We describe the text in them with alternative text, but the description may not include every design detail.
  • Some cards are short videos without sound, and they have no captions.
  • Advertisements (Google AdSense) and social network share buttons are provided by third parties and are not fully under our control.
